Terms of Service, Conditions, & Information

COMMISSION SLOTS: Depending on the complexity of the pieces commissioned, I may have only 3 to 5 slots available at a time. Commission slots are first-come first-serve, and turn-around times vary; portraits may be completed within a 3-week timeframe while complex pieces take much longer after the initial payment.ORDERING A COMMISSION: Please have a Pinterest Board or a Google Folder of relevant reference pieces (i.e. for facial features, hair styles, textures, costuming, props, lighting/atmospheric elements, etc.) and written descriptions prepared beforehand. Then, message me! We can discuss further, and I can add you to an available slot listed here. In the event that slots are full, I will have to add you to a waitlist and check back with you at a later date.WILL DO: Original Characters (OCs), Fanart, Animals/Fictitious Creatures, Artistic Nudity, Mecha, Action/Combat Scenes, Sci-Fi, Architecture, LandscapesWON'T DO: NSFW/Sexual/Fetish, Extreme Gore/Violence, Celebrities, Exclusionary Subject MatterPAYMENT: All payments are made through PayPal invoices in USD and split into two parts. The first part is equivalent to half of the full value and is paid to reserve a slot after the initial Thumbnailing/Sketch Phase (see PROCESS below). The second part is the next half of payment after the commission has been completed to release the full resolution of the finished piece.These are both non-refundable. If a commission order is cancelled at any point, I may or may not complete the piece on my own time with zero obligations.RIGHTS AND USAGE: I reserve the right to decline a commission or requested changes to an ongoing commission at my discretion.I retain full rights to the artwork and process images, including but not limited to distribution of the materials and their usage (i.e., images may be uploaded to social media, messaging platforms, or portfolios for my own graphics or advertisements).Please do not use my art for commercial purposes or claim my artwork as your own. This is currently non-negotiable and includes reselling, commercial prints, NFTs, etc.You may use my art for personal purposes, such as profile pictures, banners, or display.PROCESS: I work in three phases...Thumbnailing/Sketch Phase: This phase is for rough concepting and sketching and requires the most communication. During this phase, details are kept relatively loose. The main focus is on development and placement of major or primary elements, such as features, posing, anatomy, costuming, props, and spacing.
Tonal Phase: In this phase, the piece begins to solidify with a heavy focus on rendering and lighting. Details receive more attention with an emphasis on precision. This phase involves the majority of the work, and updates here may slow considerably.
Color Phase (Final): The final step involves applying color to the tonal piece. Color often develops very quickly, employing concepting from the initial thumbnails and sketches. After completion of this phase, the piece is finished and no further changes may be requested.
